Time to Spring Clean!

So Easter, to me, officially marks the beginning of Spring and with that comes the ever so exciting task of spring cleaning. One of my biggest to do's every year is the cleaning of the closets. Now I must confess, I do get a little rush whenever I get a chance to organize something. I know it sounds crazy, but I actually feel my blood pressure rise when things are out of sorts in my house. Can you relate? Over the years I've gotten a lot better, you have to when you have kids, but if I could live in a model home with things staged and organized all the time, I would! So today I'm off to clean out my closet and hopefully, calm my inner Martha Stewart voice screaming at me.

First off, I need to get rid of those dry cleaning bags!!! Those are terrible for your clothes for any long periods of time. Also, keep this in mind.... if you have any designer pieces that you think may come back, don't get rid of them! Even if you are thinking, printed denim will never be coming back....store them away. We went through my husband's Grandma's closet and found an extremely old, vintage shoe box for a pair of Christian Dior's. Unfortunately, they were no where to be seen, but how fun would that have been to see those gems? So word to the wise, hold on to those hot designer duds, someone may be thanking you later!
